Known as The Walking Dead, the First Battalion Ninth Marines (1/9) is a lasting symbol of courage, sacrifice, and unbreakable brotherhood. The 1st Battalion 9th Marines Association exists to honor this legacy by supporting our veterans, Gold and White Star Families, and associated members who served in this storied unit. Through reunions, scholarships, humanitarian aid, and mental health advocacy, we foster connection, preserve history, and help ease the effects of PTSD and related challenges.
