Rails to Trails is a trail that travels along the Red Bank Creek from Brookville in Jefferson County to South Bethlehem in Armstrong County, passing through undeveloped scenic rural areas. Passing through several small towns, the trail goes past many historically significant sites and travelers face many bridges, tunnels, and stone arches. The entire trail is 51 miles long with several benches, shelters, and a few portable restrooms along the way for travelers to rest and appreciate the picturesque environment surrounding them. Cell service is unavailable in most parts of the trail, providing a great opportunity to unplug and destress from the world.
