Murder, Mayhem & Medieval Mischief Coming to Brookville

A night of laughter, mystery, and full-blown medieval rebellion is coming to Brookville — and the public is invited to be part of the action.

The Brookville Laurel Festival Committee is turning up the excitement with its upcoming Murder Mystery Dinner, Death and Taxes – The Peasants Are Revolting, set for Saturday, April 25, 2026 at The Heritage House.

Set in a chaotic medieval kingdom where taxes are high and tempers are higher, the evening unfolds with outrageous characters, unexpected twists, and laugh-out-loud moments. Keep a sharp eye and a sharper wit — not everything is as it seems, and guests may find themselves drawn into the mischief as the mystery unfolds.

Guests will enjoy a hearty meal, dessert, and plenty of entertainment — plus the chance to win big with a basket raffle and 50/50 drawing. Costumes are encouraged, adding even more fun to an already unforgettable evening.

Secure your tickets soon:

$35 each or $65 for two
Doors open at 4:30 p.m. | Dinner at 6:00 p.m.
