Brookville Chamber Kicks Off Food Truck Monday Season

March 5, 2025 The Brookville Area Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce the return of Food Truck Monday, bringing an exciting lineup of delicious food options to Historic Downtown Brookville starting Monday, March 17th! Food enthusiasts, get ready! Each Monday from mid-March through October, a rotating selection of food trucks will set up in front of Town Square on Main Street, serving up a variety of mouthwatering dishes for both lunch and dinner. From sizzling street tacos and crave-worthy burgers to legendary lobster rolls and other fan-favorite flavors, Food Truck Monday promises something for everyone. Kicking off the season on Monday, March 17th, is Bill-Yums Good Eats, a local favorite known for its delicious sandwiches and flavorful menu. More Than Just a Meal Food Truck Monday has become something the community looks forward to each week, bringing people together for great food and good company. Whether it’s friends gathering for lunch, coworkers taking a break from the office, or families enjoying a meal in Town Square, this event creates a welcoming atmosphere filled with friendly faces, lively conversation, and a change from the usual brown-bag lunch routine. “We’re excited to bring another season of Food Truck Monday to Brookville,” said Jamie Popson, Director of the Brookville Area Chamber of Commerce. “When many local restaurants take a well-deserved break on Mondays after a busy weekend, we saw an opportunity to introduce a variety of cuisine options you don’t normally find here. With a shift of focus from traditional marketing tools to digital tools, consumers are spending more time on SM. As businesses recognize this they are making the shift to use social media as an effective marketing tool. More and more organizations are establishing a presence on a variety of different SM applications, utilizing it as an effective promotional tool, but there is so much more to SM. Specifically, each SM application keeps track of a variety of analytics, allowing business profiles to easily access and use this information. The analytics provide a wealth of knowledge surrounding your customers, market, and even industry. Using this information can help you understand your customers, improve your strategy, and most importantly identify new opportunities for growth. The Better Business Bureau (BBB) has established four ways they recommend for identify opportunities for growth using social media analytics: Overall, there is an abundant of information that can be gathered and analyzed using SM, especially when looking at the analytics that applications provide. One of these great advances include the development of social media (SM), which has become a pillar for a diverse array of individuals. With an increase in attention and interest on a variety of SM applications, individuals are spending more and more time “scrolling through their feeds”. Thus, the shift of focus from business leaders and organizations to utilize SM as an effective marketing tool has begun. Utilizing SM as a business leader and marketing tool can provide many benefits such as increased brand awareness, further customer reach, and the building of a community. Although many organizations and business leaders are on SM and know the benefits from it, many struggle with utilizing the different applications effectively to maximize these benefits. Steps to for Effective Use There are many steps that can be taken to enhance one’s understanding and utilization of SM, but here are some of our recommendations: Overall, technological advances and the shift of interest & attention on SM has changed the way businesses and business leaders can utilize social media as an effective marketing tool. Sergent, DO, an emergency medicine physician and the Central Region Medical Director of Emergency Medicine at Penn Highlands Healthcare. “Falls are common among people of all ages. People with chronic conditions such as heart or lung disease may be at risk of complications.
