The Cook Forest Easter Sunrise Service is an annual interdenominational church service held in the serene setting of Ridge Campground Amphitheater at Cook Forest State Park. Taking place early in the morning, the service allows attendees to experience the beauty of the sunrise while reflecting on the meaning of Easter. Surrounded by nature, this special outdoor gathering provides a peaceful and uplifting way to celebrate the holiday. All are welcome to join in worship and fellowship at this cherished community tradition.

This free event provides an opportunity for Jefferson County voters to hear directly from candidates running for Jefferson County Coroner, Prothonotary, and Treasurer and learn more about their qualifications and goals to make informed choices at the polls. This is not a debate but an informative session where candidates will introduce themselves and answer pre-submitted questions from the community. Jefferson County voters are encouraged to submit questions in advance through an online form, as no questions will be taken during the event. All submissions will be vetted to ensure a fair and productive discussion.
