This annual event offers: Duathlon: 3.1-mile run → 12-mile bike → 2-mile run 5K Race: 3.1 miles on a mix of trails and paved roads Community Walk: 2-mile walk for all ages All events are timed except the community walk. Participants who pre-register by June 16 will receive a free event t-shirt. Early Bird Registration (April 1 – May 21):All early registrants will be entered into a drawing for a $100 gift card. Regular Registration (May 22 – July 17):Secure your spot before the deadline. Race Day Registration (July 19):Begins at 8:00 AM. Note: T-shirt availability is not guaranteed for same-day registrants. Event Highlights: Free picnic lunch provided to all racers and spectators after the event Raffles and prizes including gift cards, theme park tickets, and more Grand prize drawing for participants raising $75 or more in donations How to Participate: Register online at the official registration page Fundraise by encouraging friends and family to sponsor your participation Prepare and join us on race day! Proceeds benefit Western PA CARES for Kids, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting children affected by abuse.

Adagio Health is partnering with the Jefferson County Area Agency on Aging to bring pop-up farmers markets right to your Senior Center! Plan to use your Farmer Market Vouchers at these events or purchase items out of pocket!
River Critters
Cook Forest 218 River Cabins Road, Cooksburg, PA, United StatesPlease bring your river sneakers, swimsuits, and snorkels to the Park Office as we drive to nearby watersheds to search for and identify hard to find underwater creatures. Various species of fish, mussels, snakes and salamanders often make an appearance. This is truly a wilderness experience. Expect no public bathrooms. Bring lunch & water. Children must be with a participating adult.
Fire Tower/Seneca Point Historical Tour
Please bring your binoculars and meet at the Fire Tower Parking Lot for an historical interpretive tour of the Fire Tower and Seneca Point by DCNR Conservation Volunteer, Greg Burns. Learn about local logging history, observe Indian sign, and take a breathtaking view from the top of the Fire Tower.
