The 2025 Gingerbread Tour is HERE — and Blackbird’s is a must-stop destination! Looking for the perfect holiday gift or just want to soak up some festive fun? We’ve got you covered! Shop local & stock up: We’re fully loaded with our award-winning spirits, homemade canned goods, smoked cheeses, apparel, and so much more — all made with pride right here at Blackbird’s! Special Guests & Weekend Fun:Brian Fox, the incredible chainsaw carver, will be here Friday, Saturday, & Sunday — don’t miss seeing his live carving talent! J&C’s Brick Oven Pizza will be serving up hot, delicious pizzas on Saturday from 11–6 (or sold out!). We’ll also have our food menu available Friday & Sunday, plus tons of cocktails, slushies, PA beers, and wines for you to enjoy! This weekend is all about celebrating local and supporting small businesses — and we couldn’t be more excited to share it with you. Please bring your spotlights and meet at the Park Office Conference Room for an evening driving tour as we car-pool to Cook Forest’s white-tail hotspots. Come learn about the natural history of our Commonwealth’s state mammal, as we cruise the park searching for this elusive animal. (3 hrs)

From unique gifts to festive décor, you’ll find something special for everyone on your list. While you shop, don’t forget to stop by our bake sale, featuring an array of homemade treats, cookies, and holiday goodies perfect for sharing (or keeping for yourself!). Best of all, part of the proceeds from this event go directly to the Heritage House, helping to support our local senior center and the wonderful activities they provide. There’s no better way to kick off your holiday shopping than with us during the Gingerbread Tour! Shop local, give back, and celebrate the season! Food truck will be set up on-site.
Join the Brookville Area School District as we come together to honor the brave men and women who have served our country. Veterans and their families are invited to participate in this special Veterans Day Parade, beginning at Memorial Park and traveling through downtown Brookville before concluding at Hickory Grove Elementary School. Participants should meet at Memorial Park no later than 9:00 a.m., with the parade stepping off promptly at 9:30 a.m. The route will travel down Pickering Street, Main Street, Allegheny Boulevard, Maplevale Road, and Jenks Street, before entering the school grounds. Local residents and businesses are encouraged to line the streets, decorate storefronts, and show their support for our Veterans as the parade passes by.
