    Maison Alkabby

    A Year of Becoming One year ago, Maison Alkaaby opened its doors with a simple vision: to create a beautiful space where women could discover exceptional lingerie and experience personalized service. Over the past year, that vision has evolved into something even more meaningful. Through professional bra fittings, thoughtful guidance, and one-on-one attention, Maison Alkaaby has become a place where women reconnect with comfort, confidence and themselves. As we celebrate our first anniversary, I am filled with gratitude for every woman who has walked through our doors, trusted us with her fitting journey, and become part of our story. Please join us for a Champagne Reception on Saturday, August 15, from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. as we celebrate a remarkable first year and toast to the future.   • Women’s Hike Series

    Cook Forest State Park

    Aug.16,2026 https://events.dcnr.pa.gov/event/womens-hiking-series Come Nurture your Mental and Physical health during a Sunday evening hike. We will meet at the Ridge Camp Pavilion, in Cook Forest State Park. (Across from the entrance to the Firepower on Rt. 36) Moderate Level Hiking with some rough terrain and a few hills (Not a paved level path). Approximately 2 hours long. Open to all women ages 14 and up. Dogs on a leash. Rain or Shine! Weather permitting and pending interest of the group, we will branch off into two groups. One group will venture onto a more rigorous path while the other group will continue on a path to relax and enjoy being in nature.     Food Truck Monday returns to Historic Downtown Brookville beginning March 16! Each Monday from mid-March through October, a rotating lineup of food trucks will serve lunch and dinner in front of Town Square on Main Street. Grab something delicious and enjoy the heart of downtown—because the best seat in the house is outside. Relax at one of the picnic tables or park benches, take in the fresh air, and soak up the charm of Brookville’s Victorian Main Street. Hosted by the Brookville Area Chamber of Commerce.

    Safely dispose of unwanted electronics and hazardous household items at this upcoming collection event hosted by the Jefferson County Solid Waste Authority.  Dates: Saturday, May 2, 2026 & Saturday, August 22, 2026  Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM  Location: Goodwill, 101 Preston Way, Falls Creek, PA  Eligibility: Jefferson County residents only  Registration is required Reserve your appointment in advance at www.nobleenviro.com or call 412-567-6566.
