Fire Tower/Seneca Point Historical Tour

Please bring your binoculars and meet at the Fire   Tower Parking Lot for an historical interpretive tour of the Fire Tower and Seneca Point by DCNR Conservation Volunteer, Greg Burns.  Learn about local logging history, observe Indian sign, and take a breathtaking view from the top of the Fire  Tower.

Women’s Hike Series

Join the Friends of Cook Forest for a Women’s Hike Series—an uplifting, women-only hiking experience open to ages 14 and up. Held monthly at 5 PM, these two-hour hikes offer a chance to connect with nature, build friendships, and enjoy the peaceful beauty of Cook Forest. Rain or shine—friendly dogs welcome!

Shop the twenty-mile corridor of unique vendors from Cook Forest State Park to Historic Brookville, Pennsylvania. The pre-Christmas shopping extravaganza has diverse array of items that are sure to please every taste whether you are looking for yourself or someone on your list. Brochures with the tour map are available at all participating vendors and restaurants as well as the PA Great Outdoors Visitor Center and on this website once available.
