Neither sand, rocks, snow or mountainous terrain can stop it (well, maybe ice…) It is also a very capable commuter bike (think potholes) complete with bike rack. 1 lucky winner will claim this awesome Ebike at our 7th Annual Family Bicycle Ride, Poker Run & Picnic on September 21st ! Fire Tower/Seneca Point Historical Tour

Please bring your binoculars and meet at the Fire   Tower Parking Lot for an historical interpretive tour of the Fire Tower and Seneca Point by DCNR Conservation Volunteer, Greg Burns.  Learn about local logging history, observe Indian sign, and take a breathtaking view from the top of the Fire  Tower.

Held monthly at 5 PM, these two-hour hikes offer a chance to connect with nature, build friendships, and enjoy the peaceful beauty of Cook Forest. Rain or shine—friendly dogs welcome!

Election Day Soup Fundraiser

Warm up after casting your vote and support the Heritage House Senior Center! Stop by on Tuesday, November 4th for a hearty quart of soup — choose from Chicken Noodle or Vegetable Beef — prepared by Shannon’s Catering. Quarts are $10 each and available starting at 8:00 AM until sold out. Pre-orders are encouraged and can be picked up from 8:00–11:30 AM. Pre-order by October 28 by calling (814) 849-3391. Proceeds help Jefferson County Area Agency on Aging continue its mission of providing meals, activities, and vital support services that keep our older adults connected, healthy, and engaged in in our community.
