Raffle TIX Available NOW! For this year’s raffle, we present a monstrous-fat-tire-go-almost-anywhere machine! Have an Off-Road Adventure ! This awewsome Ebike can handle anything! Neither sand, rocks, snow or mountainous terrain can stop it (well, maybe ice…) It is also a very capable commuter bike (think potholes) complete with bike rack. 1 lucky winner will claim this awesome Ebike at our 7th Annual Family Bicycle Ride, Poker Run & Picnic on September 21st ! Tickets can also be purchased at our Gift Shop at the History Center, 172 Main St., Brookville and at any of our upcoming events.

Woodcarvers Festival: “A Day at the County Fair”

Saturday: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Sunday: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.  This festival features carefully hand-carved creations which are judged by professional carvers.  In addition to the carvings, we are adding other wooden works of art to the festival.  These impressive works of art are displayed throughout the weekend, and many are available for purchase. Demonstrations and a woodcarving class will round out the event. The 2025 Jefferson County Fair will be held July 13 - 19!  Admission is just $12 per person, kids 2 years and younger get in free! Admission includes: Parking, Grandstand Entertainment, Carnival Rides, Community Stage Music & Entertainment, Mid-way Entertainment, Petting Zoo and more!

2025 Duathlon, 5K & Community Walk Date: Saturday, July 19, 2025Time: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PMLocation: Cook Forest State Park, Shelter 2, Leeper, PARegistration Deadline: July 17, 2025 Join us for a day of fitness and community spirit in support of Western PA CARES for Kids. This annual event offers: Duathlon: 3.1-mile run → 12-mile bike → 2-mile run 5K Race: 3.1 miles on a mix of trails and paved roads Community Walk: 2-mile walk for all ages All events are timed except the community walk. Participants who pre-register by June 16 will receive a free event t-shirt. Early Bird Registration (April 1 – May 21):All early registrants will be entered into a drawing for a $100 gift card. Regular Registration (May 22 – July 17):Secure your spot before the deadline. Race Day Registration (July 19):Begins at 8:00 AM. Note: T-shirt availability is not guaranteed for same-day registrants.
