Please bring your binoculars and meet at the Fire Tower Parking Lot for an historical interpretive tour of the Fire Tower and Seneca Point by DCNR Conservation Volunteer, Greg Burns. Learn about local logging history, observe Indian sign, and take a breathtaking view from the top of the Fire Tower. (1.5 hrs)

Jurassic Weather Program

Step back in time to the Mesozoic Era on Saturday October 4 as we explore the climate and weather of the Jurassic period. Participants will partake in a dino dig, make insects in amber, participate in the floor is lava, and dine on some delicious dino-mite treats! The entry fee also includes free time on the exhibits. Join Clear Creek EES, Jenna Hyde, at the Nuthole Pavilion, located at the entrance to Ridge Camp, to discover forest frights and the fascinating world of our feathered friends here in Pennsylvania. Learn about what common owl species we have here in Pennsylvania, their digestive system, and what skeletons they leave behind. We will then make an owl nature craft, bring your creative brains to the table! (2hrs)
