Please bring your binoculars and meet at the Fire Tower Parking Lot for an historical interpretive tour of the Fire Tower and Seneca Point by DCNR Conservation Volunteer, Greg Burns. Learn about local logging history, observe Indian sign, and take a breathtaking view from the top of the Fire Tower. (1.5 hrs)
Please bring your chairs, blankets, and your best animal call imitation to the Ridge Camp park Amphitheater for an evening of animal calls. Join the park naturalist as he demonstrates how and why animals of PA talk to each other. (1 hr)
Step back in time to the Mesozoic Era on Saturday October 4 as we explore the climate and weather of the Jurassic period. Participants will partake in a dino dig, make insects in amber, participate in the floor is lava, and dine on some delicious dino-mite treats! The entry fee also includes free time on the exhibits.
