    Brookville Blood Drive: Honoring Dr. Brigette "Bee" Matson Join the American Red Cross and the Brookville community for a memorial blood drive to honor the legacy of beloved local educator, Dr. Brigette "Bee" Matson. This event aims to support those battling cancer and other medical needs, reflecting the gratitude Dr. Matson held for the donors who supported her during her own treatment. Date: Friday, May 22, 2026 Time: 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Location: Brookville High School Details: Light snacks will be provided by the Brookville Presbyterian Church. Appointments: Recommended.     Cook Forest State Park 100 PA 36, Cooksburg, PA, United States

    June 14,2026 https://events.dcnr.pa.gov/event/womens-hiking-series Come Nurture your Mental and Physical health during a Sunday evening hike. We will meet at the Ridge Camp Pavilion, in Cook Forest State Park. (Across from the entrance to the Firepower on Rt. 36) Moderate Level Hiking with some rough terrain and a few hills (Not a paved level path). Approximately 2 hours long. Open to all women ages 14 and up. Dogs on a leash. Rain or Shine! Weather permitting and pending interest of the group, we will branch off into two groups. One group will venture onto a more rigorous path while the other group will continue on a path to relax and enjoy being in nature. These meetings provide a safe, confidential space for area residents to connect and find support among peers.
