    Bed and Brew Weekend honors the great men in your life on June 19th to June 21st, Father’s Day weekend. The packaged experience includes a three-course, craft-beer-tasting dinner on Saturday. Dinner entertainment is brought to you by bluegrass musician and proud dad, Michael Leslie. And deep rest comes with a luxurious two-night stay in a fireside suite too. Add on Thursday night for just $109 more! On Thursday and Friday of Bed and Brew weekend, choose to dine from our “Wild Crafter’s Kitchen” menu. Save room for Gateway’s signature chocolate cake.     Food Truck Monday returns to Historic Downtown Brookville beginning March 16! Each Monday from mid-March through October, a rotating lineup of food trucks will serve lunch and dinner in front of Town Square on Main Street. Grab something delicious and enjoy the heart of downtown—because the best seat in the house is outside. Relax at one of the picnic tables or park benches, take in the fresh air, and soak up the charm of Brookville’s Victorian Main Street. Hosted by the Brookville Area Chamber of Commerce.

Saturday 6/27/2026: 12PM Local Beef, 3PM Fuse, 6PM Land of Ozz (Ozzy Tribute), 9PM Strutter (Kiss Tribute) The 2026 Freedom of Rock Fest will benefit Local Breast Cancer Survivors. Spend the evening surrounded by the charm of our beautiful 112-year-old building while you create a dreamy summer-inspired painting filled with glowing fireflies, warm night skies, and all the magical summer vibes. Escape the heat and get ready for a relaxing evening of food, creativity, and fun!     ‘Clarion River Boating Program: Gravel Lick-Mill Creek’ Please join us for an interpretive guided float down the National Wild & Scenic Clarion River. Wildlife and lumber history abound along this secluded stretch of the river. Fishing is excellent. Help us document wood duck nesting success, river otter sign, and bald eagle nests while we kayak through the Steel Trap. This is a true wilderness boating experience. No sign of human occupation until we get near the end. Only experienced boaters permitted. Please meet at the Park Office where we will drive to the starting point. Folks must pre- register by 6/22 by contacting the Park Office at (814)744-8407. Registration limited to 10 boats. Cost is $50/boat payable by cash, check or money order made out to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. All boats, gear, and lunch provided. Prior Cook Forest kayak training participants receive a 50% discount. Register early, available spots go fast. See you on the river!
