  • BASD Hall Of Fame Induction Ceremony

    Thursday, October 1, 2026 at 1:30pm at the high school auditorium The community is invited to celebrate excellence and tradition at the annual Brookville Area High School Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. Held in the high school auditorium, this public reception officially honors outstanding Brookville alumni, retired employees, coaches, and volunteers for their lasting contributions to their fields and community. Following the auditorium presentations, the year's inductees will also be featured and introduced to the crowd during halftime at the homecBASD Hall of Fame Induction Ceremonyoming football game. Come out to celebrate the remarkable individuals who continue to inspire the Brookville community. Do you know a deserving individual? Nominations are accepted until August 1.     2026 Fall Exposition & Swap Meet October 15, 16, and 17, 2026 Single-Day Adult Admission - $12 Three-Day Adult Admission Pass - $30 Children under 12 years and Members - Free Seller's Fee - $40 Hours of operation for the Exposition are 7 a.m. to 8 p.m on October 15 and 16 (Thursday and Friday) 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on October 17 (Saturday) The Swap Meet occurs on October 15 and 16 Prior to the Exposition the museum gate will be open for visitors on October 14 (Wednesday) from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Please note: The museum is closed on Sunday, October 18

    October at Maison Alkaaby Book Club is going to feel a little darker… a little moodier, perfect for Halloween  This month, we’re diving into Frankenstein by Mary Shelley—a timeless classic that is so much more than a “monster story.” It’s a haunting, beautiful exploration of ambition, creation, loneliness, and what it truly means to be human. With a new film adaptation bringing this iconic story back into the spotlight this year, there’s no better time to experience (or revisit) the original work that started it all.
