    Please bring your binoculars and spotting scopes to thePark Office for a driving tour to eagle hotspots along the National Wild & Scenic Clarion River. This is theprime time of the year to view bald eagles on their nests and find new nesting sites. Expect a long car-pooland aggressive hike to some of the better areas, but the rewards will be worth it. Hot chocolate and coffee will be available at the Park Office to warm us up. (4 hrs)

    Designed for children ages birth to 5 years old and their caregivers Tuesdays & Wednesdays at 10 AM through the school year Our hands-on story time is a great way to get some social interaction for both you and your child. Each week at Story Time, we gather together to read some great stories and enjoy a time of learning through songs, rhymes, activities, and crafts.  ​ Story Time is a wonderful way to encourage early literacy and a love of reading in your child. It's an engaging experience designed for little ones, with lots of movement and interaction built right into the program! ​ This program is free.

    Jeferson County History Center announces our 2026 Winter-Spring Adult Educational Programming series. Window to the Past: Hidden Histories & Stories of Jefferson County. These presentations are free to the public and held at the Heritage House,4 Sylvania St.,Brookville , on the first Wednesday of the month  through April,beginning at 6:30 p.m. On Wednesday April 1,"Claron River History" will be presented by Dale Luthringer,Environmental Education Specialist.
