Jurassic Weather Program

Step back in time to the Mesozoic Era on Saturday October 4 as we explore the climate and weather of the Jurassic period. Participants will partake in a dino dig, make insects in amber, participate in the floor is lava, and dine on some delicious dino-mite treats! The entry fee also includes free time on the exhibits. Join Clear Creek EES, Jenna Hyde, at the Nuthole Pavilion, located at the entrance to Ridge Camp, to discover forest frights and the fascinating world of our feathered friends here in Pennsylvania. Learn about what common owl species we have here in Pennsylvania, their digestive system, and what skeletons they leave behind. We will then make an owl nature craft, bring your creative brains to the table! (2hrs)

This event will highlight how each of us can play a role in ensuring essential services for seniors throughout Jefferson County continue for years to come. Enjoy a light dinner and hear from local leaders, including Attorney Greg Sobol, Melinda Sherry of Edward Jones, and Molly McNutt, Executive Director of JCAAA. You will be guided through Historic Downtown Brookville to meet live actors portraying legendary figures inspired by Brookville's past. Guests will meet at the Town Square, then follow their guide into the shadows for an evening of chilling tales and theatrical thrills.
