Local author Kelly Stormer will be signing copies of her debut novel, The Way Home—a heartfelt story of a soldier haunted by war and the girl who never stopped believing. In celebration, Honey’s Cakes will be featuring lemon bars and sweet tea, inspired by the book itself. This monthly series is designed to connect the community with local authors in an inviting setting filled with good books and delicious treats. Bites for Books

Are you “hungry” for new ways to support the library? We can help with that. The Rebecca M Arthurs Memorial Library and Summerville Public Library will once again be holding our “Bites for Books” take out Dinner Fundraiser. Meals are provided by Shannon’s Catering and include your choice of either include your choice of either a stuffed chicken meal or lasagna. Dinners include salad, bread and a dessert. Tickets are only $10 each. You can pick up your meals at the RMAML from 3:30pm to 5:30pm on September 23rd. You can purchase your tickets from any of our board members, or at either the RMAML or the Summerville Public Library. The last day to purchase your tickets is September 15th.

You will be guided through Historic Downtown Brookville to meet live actors portraying legendary figures inspired by Brookville's past. Guests will meet at the Town Square, then follow their guide into the shadows for an evening of chilling tales and theatrical thrills.
