The Brookville Area Chamber of Commerce invites you to a thrilling night of sinister suspense and deadly comedy at Murder Mystery Dinner: Death Bites on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at the Brookville YMCA. Doors creak open at 5:00pm. The evening begins at 6:00pm with a delicious dinner prepared by Shannon’s Catering, complete with dessert and refreshments. Expect classic dishes served with frightful flair and clever names sure to delight every mortal appetite. This is a BYOB event, bring your favorite spirits… of any kind. After dinner, the stakes rise as Mystery’s Most Wanted, Pittsburgh’s #1 comedy murder-mystery dinner theater company, takes the stage with their fang-tastically funny production, Death Bites. This year’s plot unfolds at the Annual Vampire Hunter’s Convention, where hunters brag that their work is done and vampires are finally extinct. But rumors of something lurking in the shadows suggest otherwise. Are the undead gone for good or hiding in plain sight, ready for one last deadly bite? Only the audience-turned-detectives can solve the case before the night ends in bloody laughter. Costumes are encouraged—whether you slip into the elegance of a vampire lord or lady, channel your inner Gothic sleuth with trench coat and magnifying glass, or arrive as a rugged vampire hunter armed for the chase, your look will help set the stage for an evening of mystery and mayhem.     Brookville Students Bring Big Ideas to Life — Public Invited to Wheelers & Dealers! The Brookville Area Chamber of Commerce and Brookville Area High School are again teaming up and excited to welcome the public to the annual Wheelers & Dealers event on Wednesday, December 18th. This much-loved project gives senior Economics students the opportunity to showcase their creativity, business skills, and hard work — and the public is invited to be part of the fun. Event Details: Wednesday, December 17th, 11:15am–12:00pm Auxiliary Gym, Brookville Area High School Free to attend • Donations benefit the Class of 2026 How It Works: When you walk in, you’ll have the opportunity to purchase “play money” at the door. You’ll then use that play money to “buy” your favorite student-made items. Students do their best to create extra products for the public, but availability is not guaranteed — and that’s okay! You can still show your support by donating even if an item is sold out. At the end of the event, the student with the highest sales will earn bragging rights and a gift card sponsored by the Brookville Area Chamber of Commerce. All proceeds support the Class of 2026. This event is open to EVERYONE — parents, families, neighbors, businesses, and anyone who wants to cheer on our young entrepreneurs.
