The Brookville Laurel Festival is back for 2026, bringing together residents and visitors for an unforgettable lineup of events. From the elegance of the Scholarship Pageant to the excitement of the Grand Parade, there is truly something for everyone to enjoy. 👑 The Kickoff Saturday, June 6: Scholarship Pageant – Witness the crowning of the 2026 Laurel Festival Queen as we celebrate the leadership and talent of our local contestants. 📅 Festival Week: June 13–20 Saturday, June 13 | Art in the Park A vibrant start to the week featuring local artisans, live creativity, and a beautiful evening atmosphere. Sunday, June 14 | Car Show & 5K Kick off the morning with our annual 5K run, followed by an afternoon showcasing classic cars and local craftsmanship. Monday, June 15 | Outdoor Night Relax and enjoy the fresh air with activities designed for the whole community. Tuesday, June 16 | Family Night A dedicated evening for games, laughter, and making memories with the kids. Wednesday, June 17 | Relay for Life & Pet Parade A day of heart and hope. We honor survivors and fighters at the Relay for Life, followed by Brookville’s favorite tradition—the Pet Parade! 🐾 Thursday, June 18 | Kid’s Night A high-energy night packed with specialized activities and entertainment just for the little ones. Friday, June 19 | Sidewalk Sales & Manufacturing Tours Discover the best of Brookville! Shop local deals along Main Street and take a behind-the-scenes look at our town's industrial heritage. Saturday, June 20 | The Grand Parade The week concludes with our premier event! Bed and Brew Weekend honors the great men in your life on June 19th to June 21st, Father’s Day weekend. The packaged experience includes a three-course, craft-beer-tasting dinner on Saturday. Dinner entertainment is brought to you by bluegrass musician and proud dad, Michael Leslie. And deep rest comes with a luxurious two-night stay in a fireside suite too. Add on Thursday night for just $109 more! On Thursday and Friday of Bed and Brew weekend, choose to dine from our “Wild Crafter’s Kitchen” menu. Save room for Gateway’s signature chocolate cake. It is finally time for our highly anticipated annual book sale! Our sale will run June 16-20, 2026 during library hours. Friday and Saturday are by donation and Saturday after 2pm books are FREE! The library will be CLOSED on Sunday to help staff rest and reset the library. With over 20,000 items, there is truly something for everyone at this amazing used book sale

June 18, 19, and 20, 2026 Hot Air Engines of the World This Exposition will feature the hot air (Stirling) engines, fans, and numerous past and present thermal operated toys and models from across the globe! The museum currently showcases several of these unique and interesting operating machines and a record number are expected to show up for the show. Our chairman for this event, Dr. Brent Rowell, is well known and respected for his knowledge of these engines, and their past, present, and future value to mankind. Single-Day Adult Admission - $12 Three-Day Adult Admission Pass - $30 Children under 12 years and Members - Free Seller's Fee - $40 Hours of operation for the Exposition are 7 a.m. to 8 p.m on June 18 and 19 (Thursday and Friday) 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on June 20 (Saturday) Prior to the Exposition the museum gate will be open for visitors on June 17 (Wednesday) from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. See our schedule of future Expositions Please note: The museum is closed on Sunday, June 21
