April Wine and Dine Weekend, April 24th to April 26th, invites you to lighten your step and reconnect with those that matter most. The days are warmer and the feeling of Spring lifts our spirits. It’s a perfect time to enjoy a weekend of fabulous wine, delicious farm-to-table fare, and live entertainment. Nearby, be sure to visit Rimrock Overlook in the Allegheny National Forest. Also in the Allegheny Forest is Pigeon Falls, a spot worth seeing if you are adventurous. And for the ultimate view, a drive to the Kinzua skywalk should definitely be on your bucket list. If you want to try some local wines while driving about, check out these local wineries. At last, when you come back from your day of exploring the PA Wilds, cozy in a plush couch in Gateway’s Great Room or unwind with a game of pool in the Billiards Room. Jefferson County Farm & Bureau

Jefferson County Fairgrounds 146 Strishock Lane, Brookville

According to organizers, the event is scheduled to run from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds. The program provides children with an opportunity to experience various types of agricultural equipment firsthand. According to the Farm Bureau, the event is a way to engage the community in Road Safety week while allowing kids to explore local agriculture. The event includes several activities designed to teach children about farming in new ways. According to the announcement, admission to the fairgrounds is free for all attendees. Refreshments will be provided throughout the afternoon by the Jefferson County Farm Bureau and Jefferson County Dairy Promotion.
