You are invited to our 42nd Annual Youth Fishing Derby. Open to all kids 15 years of age and under. Registration and stocking begins at 8AM. Fishing begins at 9AM. We’ll have food, memberships, merchandise, and giveaways! Join us for this FREE fun family tradition.
The Brookville Area Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to welcome The Parker Place, a charming and intimate event center! Join us in welcoming The Parker Place on May 3rd with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 10:45am followed by an open house at 11:00am. The Brookville Chamber and The Parker Place invites residents and visitors to stop by, grab a bite to eat, and tour the venue. The Chow Hall will be on-site serving delicious burgers and more, while light snacks will be provided inside of the venue. There will also be some giveaways throughout the day with some interesting prizes. Of course attendees can enjoy their food and snacks inside the venue experiencing the warm and cozy atmosphere. With space to accommodate up to 75 guests, The Parker Place is ideal for events where connection and comfort matter most. The venue is equipped with its own kitchen and ice machine, helping to create an enhanced experience. There is also no shortage on parking, as The Parker Place has plenty of parking available with a lot that wraps around the center. The Brookville Laurel Festival is excited to announce their annual Murder Mystery Dinner is happening on Saturday, May 3rd! Step into the enchanting Sherwood Forest, where a rakish Robin, a sly Sheriff, and a not-so-merry band of men find themselves in a contest where the prize is... murder! With Pittsburgh's #1 interactive dinner theater company leading the way, you'll become part of the story as you uncover clues, engage with the characters, and attempt to solve the crime before the night is over. Your ticket includes a full evening of entertainment, a delicious meal, and dessert. Guests are welcome to bring their own beverages to enjoy throughout the night. Doors open at 4:30pm, giving you plenty of time to settle in before dinner is served at 6:00pm. As part of the festivities, you can also take part in a basket raffle and 50/50 raffle, adding more excitement to the night. Proceeds from the event directly support Brookville Laurel Festival entertainment and festivities, making this a great way to enjoy a night out while giving back to the community. Admission is by ticket only, with pricing set at $35 per ticket or $65 per couple. Tickets are available online or at the Brookville Chamber office.
