    Cook Forest State Park

    Sep.27,2026 https://events.dcnr.pa.gov/event/womens-hiking-series Come Nurture your Mental and Physical health during a Sunday evening hike. We will meet at the Ridge Camp Pavilion, in Cook Forest State Park. (Across from the entrance to the Firepower on Rt. 36) Moderate Level Hiking with some rough terrain and a few hills (Not a paved level path). Approximately 2 hours long. Open to all women ages 14 and up. Dogs on a leash. Rain or Shine! Weather permitting and pending interest of the group, we will branch off into two groups. One group will venture onto a more rigorous path while the other group will continue on a path to relax and enjoy being in nature.     Food Truck Monday returns to Historic Downtown Brookville beginning March 16! Each Monday from mid-March through October, a rotating lineup of food trucks will serve lunch and dinner in front of Town Square on Main Street. Grab something delicious and enjoy the heart of downtown—because the best seat in the house is outside. Relax at one of the picnic tables or park benches, take in the fresh air, and soak up the charm of Brookville’s Victorian Main Street. Hosted by the Brookville Area Chamber of Commerce.

    Thursday, October 1, 2026 at 1:30pm at the high school auditorium The community is invited to celebrate excellence and tradition at the annual Brookville Area High School Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. Held in the high school auditorium, this public reception officially honors outstanding Brookville alumni, retired employees, coaches, and volunteers for their lasting contributions to their fields and community. Following the auditorium presentations, the year's inductees will also be featured and introduced to the crowd during halftime at the homecBASD Hall of Fame Induction Ceremonyoming football game.
