January 23rd 11am-1pm At Honey's Cakes Honey’s Cakes is hosting a cozy community Meet the Author event featuring local author John Pozza and his book Was Anybody Really Listening?. Stop in to meet the author, enjoy meaningful conversation, and connect with fellow community members. While you’re there, treat yourself to Honey’s Cakes’ delicious bakery favorites and fresh coffee — the perfect pairing for a relaxed, welcoming afternoon. This event is a great way to support a local author, enjoy incredible baked goods, and show some love to a valued local small business.
Please bring your cross country skis and headlamps and meet at the Nuthole Cabin, located at the entrance to Ridge Camp, for an evening candlelit interpretive cross country ski trip in the old growth forests within and surrounding our family campground. If snow conditions aren’t good, we’ll snowshoe or hike instead. Hot chocolate and a cozy cabin will be available to warm us up! (2.5hrs)
