Show off your costume in the Summerville Halloween Parade. Each child receives a treat from the fire company. Trick-or-treat through Summerville to follow after the parade.
Brookville community Trick-Or-Treat will be on Friday, October 31st 6:00pm-8:00pm, with the costume parade starting at the YMCA at 5:30pm and ending at the Brookville Fire Company with treats for the kids before they head out to trick-or-treat.
Warm up after casting your vote and support the Heritage House Senior Center! Stop by on Tuesday, November 4th for a hearty quart of soup — choose from Chicken Noodle or Vegetable Beef — prepared by Shannon’s Catering. Quarts are $10 each and available starting at 8:00 AM until sold out. Pre-orders are encouraged and can be picked up from 8:00–11:30 AM. Pre-order by October 28 by calling (814) 849-3391. Proceeds help Jefferson County Area Agency on Aging continue its mission of providing meals, activities, and vital support services that keep our older adults connected, healthy, and engaged in in our community. Please bring your flashlights and meet at the Park Office for an evening driving tour to owling hotspots in Cook Forest. Explore the old growth forest and National Wild & Scenic Clarion River at night for Pennsylvania’s secretive owls. Barred, great horned, screech, and saw-whet owls have been known to make an appearance. (3 hrs)

Please bring your spotlights and meet at the Park Office Conference Room for an evening driving tour as we car-pool to Cook Forest’s white-tail hotspots. Come learn about the natural history of our Commonwealth’s state mammal, as we cruise the park searching for this elusive animal. (3 hrs)
