The Cook Forest Easter Sunrise Service is an annual interdenominational church service held in the serene setting of Ridge Campground Amphitheater at Cook Forest State Park.  Taking place early in the morning, the service allows attendees to experience the beauty of the sunrise while reflecting on the meaning of Easter. Surrounded by nature, this special outdoor gathering provides a peaceful and uplifting way to celebrate the holiday.  All are welcome to join in worship and fellowship at this cherished community tradition.

2025 Corsica Volunteer Fire Company’s 4th of July Celebration Celebrate Independence Day with two days of fun, food, and festivities at the Corsica Volunteer Fire Company grounds! This beloved annual event brings together the community with a wide range of activities for all ages. Festivities kick off on Sunday, June 29th with a full day of events: Chinese Auction Sales run until 6 PM At 11 AM, don’t miss the classic Car Show hosted by the Knight Cruisers Also at 11 AM, enjoy a mouthwatering Chicken BBQ Wrap up the evening with a 7 PM Vesper Service and Ice Cream Social The main celebration continues on Friday, July 4th, starting with the parade at 10:30 AM (line-up begins at 8:30 AM). After the parade, the kitchen opens for a delicious community dinner. For $12, enjoy your choice of roast beef or ham, scalloped potatoes, corn or green beans, pasta salad, a roll, and dessert. It’s the perfect way to fuel up before an afternoon of fun. More Friday highlights include: 12 PM – 4 PM: Touch-a-Truck 4 PM: Cornhole Tournament (sign-ups begin at 3 PM) 7 PM: Pie & Cake Auction After the Auction: Raffle Drawing 7 PM – 10 PM: Live music by Killin’ Time 10 PM: Fireworks to light up the night sky! Other Friday attractions include ice cream and games following the parade, Chinese auction sales until 6 PM, ticket sales ending at 6 PM, and a bounce house and obstacle course available from 12 PM to 6 PM.
