2025 Duathlon, 5K & Community Walk Date: Saturday, July 19, 2025Time: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PMLocation: Cook Forest State Park, Shelter 2, Leeper, PARegistration Deadline: July 17, 2025 Join us for a day of fitness and community spirit in support of Western PA CARES for Kids. This annual event offers: Duathlon: 3.1-mile run → 12-mile bike → 2-mile run 5K Race: 3.1 miles on a mix of trails and paved roads Community Walk: 2-mile walk for all ages All events are timed except the community walk. Participants who pre-register by June 16 will receive a free event t-shirt. Early Bird Registration (April 1 – May 21):All early registrants will be entered into a drawing for a $100 gift card. Regular Registration (May 22 – July 17):Secure your spot before the deadline. Race Day Registration (July 19):Begins at 8:00 AM. Note: T-shirt availability is not guaranteed for same-day registrants. Event Highlights: Free picnic lunch provided to all racers and spectators after the event Raffles and prizes including gift cards, theme park tickets, and more Grand prize drawing for participants raising $75 or more in donations How to Participate: Register online at the official registration page Fundraise by encouraging friends and family to sponsor your participation Prepare and join us on race day!
