The Punxsutawney Weather Discovery Center is bringing the holiday spirit to life with its annual Lunch with the Grinch event, scheduled for Sunday, December 7, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The event includes lunch, crafts, games, and a chance to meet the Grinch. Each child can decorate a cookie and take home crafts and treats. Lunch includes pizza from Punxsy Pizza, chips, and a drink.
Registration is required, and the event is limited to 28 children. The cost is $15 per child, with pre-payment necessary to secure a spot. Families may substitute another child if the registered child cannot attend, but the payment is nonrefundable.
The event will be held at the Punxsutawney Weather Discovery Center at 201 North Findley Street, Punxsutawney, Pa. Photos with the Grinch can be taken in the lobby during pickup. For more information call (814) 938-1000 or email educator@weatherdiscovery.org.
