Eggs & Issues: Medicare Basics

Learn How to Navigate Medicare Open Enrollment with Confidence
The Brookville Area Chamber of Commerce invites the community to its next Eggs & Issues breakfast forum on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at 7:30 AM at the Heritage House. This session will focus on Medicare Basics, Medicare Advantage Plans, and resources for aging adults and caregivers—timed just ahead of the Medicare Open Enrollment Period (October 15–December 7).
Are you a caregiver for an aging family member? Do you want to be the trusted source of information for your loved ones? This event will give you the tools to make informed decisions.
The program will feature Molly McNutt, Director of the Jefferson County Area Agency on Aging (JCAAA), along with licensed insurance professionals Deana Lemmon of Sarvey Insurance and Lisa Mansell of Charles Leach Agency. Together, they will provide valuable insights on:
-
Medicare Basics – what you need to know
-
The difference between Medicare Advantage and Medicare Supplement plans
- Cost-saving programs and how to avoid scams
Attendees will also have the chance to ask questions during an interactive Q&A session.
Alongside the educational program, Eggs & Issues is a premier networking opportunity designed to bring people together to learn about important issues, exchange ideas, and strengthen community connections. A buffet breakfast will be provided by The Nutrition Group.
Cost to attend:
-
$15 for Chamber members
