Scam Jam

The “Scam Jam” is a free educational and safety program designed to help older adults and community members recognize, avoid, and report financial fraud and scams.
These events regularly feature presentations from the Jefferson County Area Agency on Aging, AARP Pennsylvania, the PA Attorney General’s Office, and local law enforcement.

- What to Expect: Expert-led discussions on identifying digital, romance, and imposter scams, take-home resources, and typically a free lunch.
