Scripture Rocks Heritage Park
Description
Scripture Rocks Heritage Park is a free public access park, consisting of 1.5-mile gravel-covered pathways. The short hiking trail winds through more than 60 boulders carved with religious verses by Douglas Stahlman in the early 1900s including the popular Death Rock and Chapel Rock. See Altar Rock, where Stahlman would conduct public worship services and eventually live, where he began penning his Dedicated Rocks Book. The park is open from dawn to dusk April to October.
