Brookville Area’s Winter Wonderland

The Brookville area’s Winter Wonderland is just a sleighride away !  We have

three Winter Wonderland Forests within a half-hour drive or so: Clear Creek State Park, Cook Forest State Park and Allegheny National Forest.   Head out to find winter activities such as Snowshoeing, Cross-country Skiing, Sledding, Ice Skating, Wildlife Sighting and Hiking. Stop by Cooksburg Dry Goods for Ski rentals.

Winter canoeing or kayaking enthusiasts can tackle the Wild and Scenic Clarion River and dodge the icebergs!

Take a snowy hike at Scripture Rocks Heritage Park or bike ride on the Redbank Valley Trail for a winter nature experience. The Redbank Valley Trail is a 51 mile, non-motorized, 4-season trail currently being developed in Armstrong, Clarion and Jefferson Counties.
