Autumn’s Glory

The Brookville area has so much to offer in the fall season soon to be upon us.

Three forests provide all the leaf peeping you could want — Clear Creek State Park, Cook Forest State Park and Allegheny National Forest.

Got a canoe or kayak?  Float down the Wild and Scenic Clarion River and see the colors reflect off the water.

Drop by Downtown Brookville to see our town’s store windows painted by local students for Halloween. The windows will be painted mid October. Plan to attend our Haunted Brookville event.  Click here for more information.

Fall hunting seasons will soon start.  Get your bow for deer archery season and find your spot among the spectacular leaves at one of the state game lands.  Click here for complete hunting information and regulations at the PA Game Commission website.

Take a bike ride on the Redbank Valley Trail and take in the autumn colors. The Redbank Valley Trail is a 51 mile, non-motorized, 4-season trail currently being developed in Armstrong, Clarion and Jefferson Counties.
