I Love Clarion
A celebration of community and our nation’s independence featuring vendors, a live concert and fireworks.
Gates open at 5:00pm.
Local country singer Coston Cross will kick things off from 5-7 p.m. Coston prides himself on paving his own path in country music and staying true to his country roots. He pulls influences from his life experiences to make his original music stand out and to give the audience the truth of country music.
Then at 7 p.m., back by popular demand will be The Wrangler Band. They will perform a variety of music from country hits to classic rock.
The highlight of the celebration will be a fantastic fireworks display. The display will take place at dusk and will be presented by Pyrotecnico.
In an effort to support our current military, a collection table accepting donations will be available. Items to donate include travel size hygiene items, individual snack packets, batteries, small games (playing cards, puzzles, small board games), gum & hard candy, air fresheners, phone cards, envelopes, postage stamps, small writing tablets, ink pens, rubber bands, books, magazines, music CD’s. We kindly ask you to support our troops by donating supplies and writing “thank you” cards to those who serve. Monetary donations to assist with shipping costs to the troops are also greatly appreciated.
Also beginning at 5 p.m., there will be local businesses and vendors selling food and refreshments. Some of the food items include walking tacos, hamburgers, hot dogs, kettle corn and frozen custard. You will also have the opportunity to purchase Clarion University merchandise from the Clarion University Store.
