Christmas House Decoration Contest 2014


If you live in Brookville Borough, you can register for the Christmas House Decoration Contest. Registration forms can be found in the Brookville Area Chamber of Commerce Office! Or, you can call 814-849-8448 to register.


All registration forms must be filled out by November 21, 2014 to be considered as a contestant. Judging will take place on November 25, between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. during which the Committee asks that you please keep your lights on.

The Solid Waste Authority operates a countywide drop off recycling program.  There are 19 sites located throughout the county that are easy and convenient to use.  They are open 7 days per week, 24 hours a day.

Travel Advisory - Traffic PatternChanges Next Week on Interstate 80 in Clarion County



Next week, barrier is beinginstalled on the bridges over Route 338 for bridge dam repairs.  Thecontractor will begin eastbound and then work on the westbound bridges.

Lane restrictions remain in placeon I-80 Eastbound between Exits 45 and 60 for roadway repairs.

Work on the project consists ofconcrete patching, milling and paving, as well as bridge dam repairs

Congestion and delays arepossible, especially in peak travel periods. Drivers need to remain alert andslow down while driving through work zones. Please take your turn merging anddrive responsibly for your safety and the safety of the workers. 

Glenn O. Hawbaker, Inc., ofDuBois, is the prime contractor on the $25.7 million preventative maintenanceproject and is expected to be completed in November 2015.
